                    |  |    There are around 100  species in this family of birds. The are found in Africa, Asia, and Australia in forests and brushlands. The birds in this family are  4-6 inches in length. They are usually olive-green, yellow, or reddish-brown on their uppersides and a lighter color on their undersides. They have large white eye rings; short, pointed bills; short, rounded wings; and medium length, square tails.  They eat nectar, insects, and fruit and are usually found in flocks.
